 United Grooves was founded by UK based dancer, choreographer and certified Street Dance teacher, Tania Diggory in 2011. Hailing from a mixed English/Jordanian background, Tania’s love for dance began at a young age where she became fascinated by various cultural dance styles which ultimately led to her true passion: teaching others how to find their own style and groove. After graduating from Brunel University in London, Tania then went on to perform in various events including TV commercials, films and performances at venues such as London’s Sadler’s Wells Theatre, Her Majesty’s Theatre and The Bridewell Theatre. Tania’s choreography credits also include Hertfordshire's Dacorum Dance Competition 2010 and 2011 – both years her group won first place. Tania has been trained by the following professional instructors and choreographers in a variety of dance styles: |

With a sound knowledge and training in Street Dance including Locking, Popping, Hip Hop, Breaking and House, Authentic Middle Eastern Belly Dance and Freestyle, United Grooves specialises in teaching a range of dance cultures whilst allowing students to explore and develop each style. United Grooves encourage the freedom of self expression and creativity that come from exploring the various styles within these dances and we are passionate about teaching the roots of each style as well as the history and culture. We train consistently, developing as dancers and most importantly, striving to be the best we can be for our students. |
